(Can you believe this? Dad actually walked the dog!)
We also drove to where Ben plays cricket. It was in a lovely quiet and picturesque place where I also saw some deer - so idyllic.
Meg reckons our blog should read ... 'Went helicoptering in the Grand Canyon, went to DC with Houghtons, went here and there with others, did the ironing at Millers!' She's a laugh - it has just been a relief to be still for a bit.
Today was Federal Election Day in Australia, and we dutifully mailed our postal votes this morning: £1.88 by air mail.
Sunday was a lovely day with Dad preaching on Titus at Cobham Presbyterian Church. A small but lovely group of God's people, with a number of Scots among them. A Korean family of 5 came home for lunch also so we were a party of 12 with six hungry teenage boys. Meg fed us all very well. We walked the dog again and then back to Church where David preached on the foundation of God's church...the rock of the gospel. It was nice to be able to sit around tonight and unwind and just chat. 'Face timed with Gracie for her 7th birthday - so lovely to see you all!
Here's a photo of Meg and her boys: Andrew, David, Ben and John. It has been lovely spending this time with them.

Lovely pics. Only you would call ironing resting mum!
ReplyDeleteSo cool to see these guys - look how big those boys are.... must be getting old! I still remember how cute Ben was as a bub.
